Good questions

Everything you were going to email us about.

Answered in advance — dress code, children, photos, and all the practical bits in between.

01What’s the dress code?

Formal / cocktail attire — suits and ties for the gents, dresses or tailoring for the ladies.

02Are children invited?

We love your little ones, but apart from immediate family this is an adults-only celebration. Consider it a night off.

03Can I bring a plus one?

Invitations are addressed to everyone included — if your invitation names a guest, they’re very welcome. If you’re unsure, just ask us.

04What time should I arrive?

Please be seated in St Mary’s by 11:45 for a 12 noon start. If you’re joining us for the evening only, we’d love to see you at Manor House from 7:30pm.

05Where do I park?

Manor House has parking on site. Parking in Honley village is limited, so please car-share where possible, or take a taxi to the church. Cars can be left at Manor House overnight if you’re taxiing home — just collect them the next morning.

06How do I get between the church and Manor House?

It’s around a 20-minute drive. Most guests will drive or share lifts; if you need a taxi, please book it in advance — see the Travel page.

07What’s the deal with gifts?

Your presence is honestly the gift. If you’d like to give something, a contribution towards our honeymoon would mean the world — details will follow with the invitations.

08Can I take photos during the day?

You’re very welcome to take photos — but please do enjoy the moment. We have a photographer capturing the day, and we’d much rather look back at your lovely faces than the backs of your phones.

09I have a dietary requirement — what do I do?

There’s a dietary field for every guest on the RSVP form — fill it in and we’ll make sure the kitchen looks after you. Manor House’s food is genuinely excellent — you’re in good hands.

10When’s the RSVP deadline?

The first of April 2027.
